As Director, Jennie supervises and coordinates all Chicago-based College programs and events. She directs the Lake Forest College In The Loop program, at the College's Chicago residential space, as well as ACTIVATE, the College's premiere summer internship program in the city. She facilitates all course trips to the city, as well as speakers brought to campus. Having grown up in the Chicagoland-area, Jennie is a strong supporter of experiential learning and is passionate about student engagement with the city. Jennie's favorite thing to do in Chicago is visit Lost Larson, an Andersonville bakery and café specializing in Swedish pastries, where she can catch up with family and friends or get lost in a book. |

Tanesha Fowler |
As Chicago Program Coordinator, Tanisha lives and works on-site at the College's Chicago campus. She serves as the on-site administrator for Lake Forest College In The Loop and ACTIVATE, and is the primary liaison at The Flats. Tanesha brings with her a wealth of experience in Higher Education and Residence Life and is passionate about student engagement with the city and collaboration. Tanesha's favorite part about the College's Chicago residential space is its location in a unique urban neighborhood. She enjoys exploring local restaurants and shops in downtown Chicago. Most weekends, you will find her shopping at the local Trader Joe's, her favorite grocery store in the Loop, or walking through Grant Park while listening to inspirational podcasts. |

As Department Assistant, Kathy serves an integral role supporting Center for Chicago Programs' initiatives. Originally from Indiana, she has lived and worked both in Chicago and the Northern Suburbs. Kathy has experience working in special events and fundraising in a university setting and most recently did research in stained and decorative glass for a private museum in Evanston. A great fan of public transit, Kathy enjoys the majesty of Lake Michigan, the great architectural variety of the Chicago area, and food adventures with friends. |
